The days of summer are beginning to wind down and within the next couple of weeks school will be back in session. With the new school year comes new activities to add to your calendar; sports, band or choir concerts, school plays, etc. We wanted to make sure that while you're filling out your family calendar that you had dates for upcoming events at Capstone Church too.
Community Give Away day is Saturday, August 27th. We will be meeting on Friday night the 26th at 6:30 p.m. for our prep night.
Volunteers are needed to help sort through the donations, get our tables ready and to be sure we are ready to open our doors on Saturday morning.
While we are collecting the normal give away items like furniture, clothes, toys, etc. we are concentrating on school supplies. We would like to help those in our community with making sure their students are going back with all the items they need.
Please consider picking up an extra package of pens, pencils, etc. went you are out purchasing supplies for your own child. There is a collection bin in the cafe where you can bring those items. Our Men's Breakfast is this Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. in the Cafe. We meet every 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month. Invite a friend!
